April 11-13: New England SCBWI conference, Nashua, NH.
April 26: F1rst Pages workshop, Norwalk, CT. Postponed until October 11.
May 6-9: Blog Talk Radio Book Bites for Kids show, 4-part series, 3 PM Eastern time.
May 16-17: SCBWI Oregon conference, Portland, OR.
May 22: Institute for Children's Literature online chat: transcript now available.
June 24: Online chat at Verla Kay's site, 9-11 PM Eastern time.
July 14-18: OCCBW 5-day workshop, Oceanside, OR.
September 19-12: Midsouth SCBWI conference, Nashville, TN.
October 17-19: Southern Breeze SCBWI conference, Birmingham, AL.
November 15: SCBWI-Illinois Prairie Writer's Day, Chicago, IL.
2009: I always attend Kindling Words near Burlington, VT, in January.
